Welcome to my New site!

I am thrilled to welcome you to my brand new web site designed by Sandra George of Soda Creek Digital. She has done a wonderful job of making the site work for our community. It now reflects everything that I do - blogging, teaching and lecturing.

Let’s look at the site together, so you feel as comfortable here as you did on the old site.

There’s a home page with a menu at the top right corner so you can navigate your way around the site easily.

If you scroll down the page a bit, you will see the explanation for the name of my blog (überlegen) and you’ll see photos from my instagram feed so, if you want to look at one of those, just click on the photo.

There’s a whole new “Teaching” menu with both classes and lectures. This is a place where you can see what classes MAY be offered online in the future and what lectures I am available to give to groups. If you want to register to be notified of upcoming online classes or contact me to teach a class to your group, this is the place to do so.

And, of course, there is still the blog. Although I haven’t been writing so often lately (partly because the site was being revamped) I will continue to write about my embroidery.

We’ve added an “Events” page so you can see where and when I’ll be teaching. The plan is that I notify you via the blog when something new opens up! You’ll also want to check social media - Instagram and Facebook - to keep up to date about online classes, which I hope to start later in the fall.
